Three sisters. One good God.

One of our father’s favorite hymns was “O the Deep Deep Love of Jesus” and as sisters we have memories of walking along the waters edge singing that song. It was a classic West Coast image. Waves rolling onto long sandy beaches, big sprays of water where it would crash into rocky outcrops, the stubby trees looking awfully windswept yet still standing, with mountains in the distance. And a family all decked out in rain gear strolling in the misty rain, looking for treasures, testing out the whittled walking stick, swinging the bull kelp like a whip, and singing. Singing of the deep love of Jesus.

The greatest expression of the deep love of Jesus was when he endured the pain and suffering of the cross. He bore the weight of our sin and took the punishment we deserved that we would be restored into relationship with God. Unmerited. Grace. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8). Like a sea that is vast, unmeasurable, boundless, free, so is his grace and love. It washes over us again and again, transforming, shaping, healing, cleansing.

25 years later, we are still walking through life singing and declaring this deep love of Jesus to one anther. We tell stories of how His grace continues to transform us. Stories of redemption, restoration, and healing. Stories of falling and failing and getting up again. Stories of ordinary life and how we find the extraordinary in it. And we now we want to share some of those stories with you.

So join us on our journey. Whether anecdotal, poem, short story or devotional; whether these stories carry you out to sea upon waves of imagination, or take you on a ascent to new heights of understanding, or pull you deeper into the forests of growth and healing; we hope you find love, truth and peace in this place as we discover what it means to live lives washed with seas of pure grace.

Come delve the ocean-depth of loving-kindness with us.
